New favourite authors and books that I love!

I have never been a fan of chick-lit because I used to think it's very cliche and boring, BUT boy was i wrong. I have been loving chick-lit for the past few months and have been constantly borrowing them and reading them and buying them. I feel that chick-lit is a genre that make me crack up all the time and sometimes even cried. They are easy reads and it is a great way to kill time however the greatest thing of all...ALL THE HOT/CUTE MEN AND ROMANTIC DATES AND KISSES!!! Throw in a funny best friend and a heroine and a couple of laughs.

So, how did my love for chick-lit started? Well the first book that got me into chick-lit was actually the "I Heart..." series by Linsey Kelk. The series was fun, cute, romantic and funny and Alex is one hot cutie and Angela is funny and they make a cute pair but who could forget the crazy, gorgeous best friend, Jen? All in all that series change my life! So grateful to have pick it up!!! Love ya Lindsey <3 I cant get enough of Alex and Angela!!! I want more!!! The other book was "About a Girl" which is also awesome!!!

Next on my favourite list is the one and only Paige Toon. I cannot express how much i love love love love "Chasing Daisy". Luis you truly are one charming and hot Brazilian and Daisy. OH I CANT EXPRESS MY FEELS!!! This is one book that i truly truly truly want it to be a never ending series!!! Other book which i also love love love is the "Johnny Be Good" series which consist of two books and a spin-off "The Accidental Life Of Jessie Jefferson" which btw book two is coming up late this year. This is a highly recommended book!!!

Sophie Kinsella is also another amazing author. I have read some of her books which include "Remember me", "Can You Keep a Secret" and "The Undomestic Goddess". I don't even know which is my favourite!!! I wish there is a second book to all of them!!! Sophie's book are super funny so, be careful when reading it in public because I promise you, you will burst out laughing!!!

I love Louise Bagshawe's "Destiny", and I love the plot and the twist and all the romance. The heroine is someone who is determined and confident. Love it!!

Lucy Diamond "Beach House" was amazing! I kind of regretted returning it the first time I borrowed it because I was not into chick-lit at first but am so glad that I have read it.

One of author that I am currently loving is Susan Elizabeth Phillips I only have read three books so far but I am hunting for the other books. The only book I have read from her "Wynette, Texas" series was the sixth book "Call Me Irresistible" only because it was the only one that story sort of caught my eye but who knows maybe i would give the rest a shot. On the other hand I absolutely love the "Chicago Stars" series and I have read two of them "Nobody's Baby but Mine" and "Dream a Little Dream" both got me all emotional. I really love this two books a lot and still am finding the rest of the series.

Last but not least, Jane Costello's book which I have read "The Nearly-Weds", one of my fav, I mean who can resist a good-looking daddy with two adorable kid. I know I can't. And i have also read "All The Single Ladies" which is so awesome and I love this book too.

These are my current favourite and of course there are plenty more to come. Not just books but also author. Reading just gets me so excited!!! I cannot wait to discover more amazing author and more amazing books!!! How I wish I can buy them all!!!!

Review: Hunting Lila

Hunting Lila
Hunting Lila by Sarah Alderson

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was not into super natural romance but when I read the summary of it I thought this was interesting.I was not prepare to be so in love in it. I remember reading it while I was eating or when I was taking the subway. I was so absorb by it even till the last page.Every page is so exciting and it makes you want to read more and more of it. I literally hung on to every single word in the book. This book has a little bit of everything from romance to suspense to action.

Alex was one hot sizzling guy. He is smart, protective and know how to kick butt. I can see why Lila has a crush on him. He is also secretive making me unable to know what is on his mind most of the time. I can see him protectiveness for Lila when they escape and when she finally told him her secret. One of me favourite line in the book is:

“When you came down the stairs, and fell into me, that was the moment.” Then his lips pressed against mine.”
― Sarah Alderson, Hunting Lila

Maybe It was just be but I melted when he said that. Then there is Lila the one with super power. I like how that because that the book is in her point of view that made her seem so authentic and charming.

This book is really awesome and the cliffhanger at the end just made made me craved for Losing Lila more than ever. After all the cute and sexy romance of Alex and Lila is not to be miss.

Review: Knight in Shining Suit

Knight in Shining Suit
Knight in Shining Suit by Jerilee Kaye

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I first came across this book while I was still on Wattpad, and I did not realise the book was already published. I remember I was crying because I could not read more and I immediately went to purchase it. IT WAS TE BEST DECISION!!!! I was not really a romance type of person but this story is seriously one of the best romance book I have ever read. This book made me want to read more about Romance and this book is really addictive to read. I could not put it down for more than a sec!!!

Ryder Van Woodsen, a name that would make heart flutter. He is really charming and really sweet to Astrid. The number of endearment he used to called her is enough to make me blush and smile unconsciously while reading. He is really manly and really loving. I mean how many times do you see a man like him beg for your forgiveness on his knees? I know Ryder does.

Astrid the ever charming stubborn lady with gorgeous purple eyes. She is the love of Ryder's life. She had her fair share of hardships. Caught her ex making out with her maid of honour/ bestfriend /cousin and to realise that her dream wedding, the one that she so hard for, ended up as her not being the bride.

"Knight in Shining Suit" is by far one of my absolute favourite romance book and would probably remain on the top for a long time. I do not find it cliche at all because Jerilee Kaye has definitely has put her twist to the story.

Intertwined by Jerilee Kaye

Jerilee Kaye is one of the reasons why i have fallen so deeply into romance. She portray these guys like angels and every time I think that this would be another of those cliche stories, she "WOWED" me with a new element and twist.

This book makes me blush like a little girl, make my heart flutter and makes me cry. Its so wonderful and though Travis and Brianne have experience A LOT of ups and downs they still made it through and they are happily married together. This is such a beautiful, beautiful love story of how two broken people that come together as puzzles. They are so fitting together and it just so beautiful.

There is a lot of crying in this book but that does change my opinion of it, they both been through a lot and they only had each other to rely on. The heartbreak that they went through was just so painful. Jerilee Kaye manage to make my heart clench every time she write a heart breaking scene.

There was lots of sweet and cute moments. One of my fav was when he stood up for her when she was being look down upon by her wedding planner. I remember clearly too that because her ring with facing the inward of her palm the wedding planner mistook her of someone of less importance. CLEARLY TRAVIS DISAPPROVES!!! He turn the ring around and kiss her!!!! <SQUELS>

Jerilee Kaye is an AWESOME writer if you are interested in romance. Though she does not have many book, I feel that one book is enough to brighten my day. "Intertwined" is definitely a book worth your time, it just make you feel that there in that knight in shining armor ,or "Knight In Shining Suit" in this case, waiting for you and sweep you off your feet.
